Former Czech Prime Minister Jiri Paroubek got divorced yesterday. The final hearing took only about twenty minutes because the couple signed a divorce settlement agreement beforehand. Mrs. Paroubek did not demand monthly rent [?] which a husband whose fault the divorce is is usually ordered to pay. Paroubek announced a few weeks ago that he has a new girlfriend.
Some time later he hired a top-class Czech lawyer who demanded that the press would not use the word “lover” to desribe his new partner. Even though all Czechs know that a girl of a guy who is still married IS called LOVER.
After the marriage that lasted 28 years Mrs. Paroubek will keep the family dog.
