Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek said a few months ago that he would not attend any ceremony of the upcoming Olympic Games in China, thus letting the Chinese know what he thinks about their idea of human rights protection.

European Football/Soccer Championships started and Czechs face the Swiss in the opening match.
