Britain Under Water. Czech Government Wants To Help

The Czech government offered its help to PM Gordon Brown. Some parts of the UK is now severely damaged by floods, thousands of people had to be evacuated. The Czech cabinet met on its regular session on Wednesday. During a subsequent press conference PM Mirek Topolanek said our country can offer dryers for wet rooms and walls,  pumps and also experts who have some decent experience with floodings that took place in the Czech Republic in 1997 and 2002.

Eastern part of the Czech Republic recently remembered the tenth anniversary of the floods in which hundreds of homes were destroyed. It was mentioned that several villages are now protected on the same level as back then. Meaning: they are not.
