Air Conditioned Trams?

In Czechs, Economy on August 24, 2007 by Petr Bokuvka

The Earth is getting hotter. The Czech Republic is getting hotter. The bosses of public transportation authorities do seem to realize this fact. But they are not going to do anything about it.

Passengers demand air-conditioned trams and buses because afternoon rushhour at four p.m. can turn a bus into a sauna with no naked chicks and no tub or pool to jump into. But the argument of the authorities and directors is…

…the air-conditioning would not work as the doors open at all bus stops. The cool air would not stay inside and having the A/C on would be useless…

Hmm, so why are the buses heated in winter? On every bus stop the doors open, the warm air does not stay inside, it gets colder for a while… but still  the heating is on. Same thing in summer with A/C. Plus, in all buses I rode on in the U.S. the air conditioning worked normally…
