Speedway Driver Fluent In English After Crash

The human mind and brain are the most mysterious things.

A young Czech bike racer had an accident in the UK in which he sustained a head injury. He was out cold for over 40 minutes. When he woke up he was able to speak perfect English with the paramedics. There was no foreign accent to be heard in his voice, his manager told The Daily Mail newspaper that came with the story first.

Unfortunatelly the ability did not last long because as soon as the races got over his amnesia, his ability was gone. Before the accident he could only speak the most basic English.

Doctors call it Foreign Accent Syndrome.

Knowing such thing exists, doctors should study human mind more to find out whether this ability can be brought to life in some kind of hypnotic state. In other words, if a mere hit in the head can make you speak English, it might be possible to “make a person speak a foreign language” without having to teach them.

Ouch!!!! That would make a translator’s life a living hell….
