Ryanair Website Not User Friendly

In Economy, Internet, Travel on November 9, 2007 by Petr Bokuvka

Media refer to Ryanair as the biggest lowcost airline in the world [Bloomberg]. But if you visit their home page in an attempt to book a more complicated flight, you have a problem. If you want to book a flight and you choose your departure city, the drop down menu for the arrival city will decrease only to the selection of cities to which there is a direct flight.

Where the hell are transfers? Like me, for instance. I want to fly from Brno (BRQ) to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (LPA) via Girona, Spain (GRO). Nope, only direct flights.

Oh, yeah. About five minutes later you’ll find a tiny tiny link named Airport Transfer that will get you to another site [external link].

And have you seen the layout? This is so 1990’s… Especially the HTML-esque colors and shapes and fonts…
