Who Wants To Be A Stewardess?

Anyone who wants to become a Ryanair stewardess should come to some kind of tryouts or job applicant hearings that are to take place in Prague on November 30, the server announces. And so does the Ryainair website, but I don’t know where.

Just like people who want to become cops, any future stewardess will take psychological tests. Probably to find out whether the main reason why she wants to do this job is to take the advantage of layovers and captains properly.

I have flown with Czech crews many times, especially with SkyEurope. Most of the girls’ English is obviously painfully memorized. Not just the procedural things [“Cabin crew, pre-flight check” or “Headcount, please”] but the normal communication things as well [“We do not have any decaf, sir”]. I wish the words would flow more naturally.

On the other hand, if you want to take a last-minute trip to Prague, this airline is a good choice. These guys put the low in low-cost…
