Czech Television Runs A Bizarre Competition

The Czech Television Programming and self-promotion department people have a wierd sense of humor. Or whatever it might be

The station airs Mayday: the Discover Channel series about major airline disasters, among which were the Tenerife disaster, the Aeroflot kid-in-the-cockpit tragedy and many others.

BUT — the viewers can take part in a competition and WIN something when they watch these tragedy re-enactments…

Before the episode there is a trivia question and if they pay attention, they can call in or send a text message and there is a prize involved…

Gee, I am sure glad the station does not broadcast WWII documentaries. The trivia question could have been “How many Jews that you saw on the train heading to a concentration camp had moustaches?”
