Former Czech President Havel In Hospital

In Politics on January 20, 2008 by Petr Bokuvka

Former Czech President Vaclav Havel was taken to hospital on Saturday with heart condition. According to Czech Television news report he is “feeling well”.

I can’t believe he is 71 years old already.

But again, isn’t Sen. John McCane also 71?

Apparently McCane does not like questions about his age. During one rally he was asked by a student about the possibility that he may die in office… So he better choose a sturdy running mate slash vice president…

Czech lawmakers will elect the next president on February 8. If the Czech president dies in office, his duties are partly taken over by the Speaker of the Senate, some by the Prime Minister… Pretty confusing.
