A Bomb In A Car: Welcome To Brno

In Law on June 7, 2008 by Petr Bokuvka Tagged: ,

The police have closed down one of the busiest intersections in downtown Brno. A foreigner living in the Czech Republic discovered what looks like a bomb underneath his car. The cops are waiting for a bomb squad. Apparently, the man had the same experience twice before, and in both cases the objects were real explosion devices.

This has to be related to mafia or organized crime…

UPDATE: A bomb squad retrieved the device and the police are now examining it in a lab. Meanwhile, the iDNES news server wrote that the man was from Albania and the vehicle in question was a silver Audi. Call it hasty generalization, if you want, but if an Albanian man has an explosion device put underneath his car three times, he is involved in organized crime. Try to enter “Albanian mafia” [in Czech] in the Czech version of Google. You will learn, among other things, that the Albanian mafia clans are known for drug trafficking.
