Hana and Hana: the coolest Czech comic strip now in English

In Culture, Entertainment, Media on October 2, 2008 by Petr Bokuvka Tagged: , , ,

Hana and Hana is a Czech comic strip about two not-so-bright chicks. Its authors are journalist Milos Cermak and cartoonist Milos Gasparec. The “observations” the two girls make are hilarious: quite often they reflect on serious political issues on which they have only second-hand information (“My father said…”), but they also touch on clubbing, nudity, clothing and fashion (DUH) etc.

There is a new book in bookstores that is half Czech, half English. If you want to know something about this kind of art slash culture, “Czech” it out.

Key words: Milos Cermak, Milos Gasparec, Hannah and Hannah, Whoa (Name of the book).

There is a website on which you can edit your own bubbles and you can even undress the girls…
