Poultry producer: we will sell meat in vending machines

A brand new method of selling their products is about to be introduced by Agrodruzstvo Jevisovice, the largest chicken meat producer in the country.

How? In vending machines – a combination of coolers and coin-operated machines that Czechs use to buy coffee, soft drinks or candy…

We will fill the machines with fresh products on a daily basis, says Bohumir Rada, the CEO of the company in an article published by the news server.

According to Rada this is the company’s reaction to what he calls “high purchase prices offered to him by retail chains”. Consequently, the machine-bought chicken meat should be much cheaper than store-bought meat.

This method has been established in Denmark, the server notes.

Rada’s company plans to combine the meat vending machines with machines selling fresh milk that people will pump into bottles they bring from home…
